Bitpay Reveals Prepaid Cardholders Can Get up to 15% Cash Back Rewards via Select Retailers – Bitcoin News

Atlanta-based crypto payment services firm BitPay has announced that BitPay prepaid cardholders will be eligible for cash back rewards when they use their card at participating retailers. The rewards feature stems from Bitpay’s partnership with Cardlytics and cardholders can earn up to 15% cashback rewards from the service on purchases from thousands of retailers.

On Wednesday, Bitpay The crypto payment company has announced a partnership with publicly listed Cardlytics (NASDAQ: CDLX) to provide Bitpay cardholders with cashback rewards options at select retailers. Cardlytics manages the cash-back rewards platform and Bitpay cardholders can earn up to 15% cash back every time they patronize participating merchants.

Cartlytics has partnered with thousands of unique merchants such as Adidas, Costco, Office Depot, Shake Shack, Sam’s Club, Finish Line and H&M. Farrell Hudzik, EVP of Financial Institutions at Cardlytics, explains that getting rewards for using a Bitpay card at specific merchants is easy. “Working with Bitpay, we provide their crypto cardholders with a personalized shopping experience where they can get cash back anytime they shop with the ease of using their Bitpay card,” Hudzik said in a statement on Wednesday.

Cardlytics executive Hudzik added:

We have thousands of brands on our platform and are always looking at where customers shop to add new merchants to benefit new and existing cardholders.

Bitpay CEO Says Rewards Give Crypto Enthusiasts Another Incentive To Use Crypto-Centric Prepaid Card

Bitpay has been operating a prepaid card for several years and first started offering services through Visa. BitPay cards are now integrated with Mastercard, a multinational financial services giant. Although the Atlanta-based company offers a crypto-fueled prepaid card, BitPay did not offer rewards prior to its announcement with Cardlytics. Other companies offering crypto prepaid card services, such as Crypto.com, reward cardholders for spending. It’s easy, just load a BitPay card with crypto, spend with dollars, get cash back and view rewards in the BitPay app.
